The lathe

The lathe is a tool machine that uses rotation, it is a removal work. The waste is the swarf.

We use it to make extractors or pins, or for finishing. The structure is made up of an electric motor which, by means of belts and gears, transmits the rotational motion to the spindle in which the tool is placed to perform the rotation. We use the CNC lathe, machining is automated. The machine has a sensor that records the movements, so you cannot make mistakes. The precision of the pieces is super high. The operator only checks the data on the computer.

The machine is supervised in the initial set-up phase.
